I wonāt lie āGotham By Gaslightā is one of my favourite instalments within the world of the Batman franchise; I love the batmanās character, the franchise as well as the mystery of Jack The Ripper but what concerns me is that some animations are becoming far too dark for audiences that animation is directly aimed at. š¦
I became very shocked in one batman animation movie in which Commissioner Gordonās daughter is shot in the stomach by the villainous joker š Paralysing her only for the villain to then strip her of her clothes, take pictures of her as a method of humiliation as well as intending to later broadcast the pictures to her father after kidnapping him with intentions to break his sanity š I fear that some animations these days are being made far too dark. Fighting for justice and capturing the villain is one thing to show kids but to broadcast such dark storylines in a format that young minds find more entertaining than live action? I donāt think itās a very good idea.
