Very important, heartwarming as well as a heartbreaking scene from Disneyās Brother Bear (2003) teaching us that one thing to one person can mean something entirely different to another. When Kenai discovers a cave painting of a man fighting a bear. He stares at the bear with hatred as he remembers that a bear played a part in the death of his brother but when his little companion, Koda looks at the painting he immediately hides behind Kenai and says āthose monsters are really scary. Especially with those sticksā
Kenai has a moment of revelation as he realises that bears see humans as monsters just as much as humans would see bears in the same way.
