A Letter To Walt Disney 📝🖋💌

Dear Walt Disney,

i’ve heard That you never liked being referred to as “Mr Disney” during your lifetime so I hope you won’t mind if I refer to you by your first name for the remainder of this letter.

My name is Amy Fielding.

I know that isn’t a name you know or that you’ll even be familiar with. It’s not even that important of a name nor is the person it belongs too but I wanted to write a letter to you all the same; I’m aware that you won’t be able to read the words I write due to the fact that you left this world far too soon But I still wanted to write the words I would have said if I had been lucky enough to receive the opportunity to meet you personally.

I want to thank you Walt, I want to thank you for the magic you filled my childhood with and I want to thank you for giving me the ability to see the magic that flows within this world even during difficult times.

Of course you were not the only one that helped me develop this ability. It was my family too. They’re always there for me And I don’t know what I did to be so lucky that I’m Part of their lives as they are apart of mine.

I don’t know if you can see from heaven but lately I’ve been working on some research and putting together a petition so that the United Kingdom can have it’s own version of your magic kingdom.

I feel that it would bring a lot of happiness to a lot of people as well as help people like myself whom have struggled to find a place to work in which they can thrive in.

One thing I want to assure you of is that I’m not doing any of this for fame or praise. I simply want to make people happy as you did. I am also trying to forefill my dream of becoming a CastMember for your company.

If my dream of a Disneyland UK comes to be reality..... I hope you will be happy and proud of it.

I think.... in a way. My doing all of this is also my way of trying to meet you in some way. Yes, I know that can’t actually happen But I mean in the spiritual sense.

I have a good feeling about this project and I hope it’s something I can help achieve.
